Cannot login to local

Issue Summary

I am not able to login to Local to be able to enable Live links.
Whenever I try to login from profile pic > Login to local, I’m redirected to https://localhost:49005/callback and end up with an error page with following error code(see screenshot attached also):

This site can’t provide a secure connection

localhost sent an invalid response.

ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR

I am able to connect to my local site though. I’ve also set the local SSL certificate to always trust. But the website is also not fully secure for some reason.

How can I fix this issue to be able to login to Local and enable live links?

System Details

  • Which version of Local is being used? Version 6.7.1+6369

  • What Operating System (OS) and OS version is being used? macos 13.2.1 (22D68)

Security Reminder

Local does a pretty good job of scrubbing private info from the logs and the errors it produces, however there’s always the possibility that something private can come through. Because these are public forums, always review the screenshots you are sharing to make sure there isn’t private info like passwords being displayed.
