I can’t import a site that I exported from my MacBook with the same version of Local installed… attached is the error I repeatedly get.
I’m really stuck here guys. I can’t move any of my sites that I was working in during vacation from my Laptop to my Desktop because of this error. Help would be much appreciated.
Hi! Apologies for the issues – let’s see what we can do to get you up and running again. Can you please provide the following?
- OS version (for both MacBooks)
- Local version
- both Local & Router Logs (found here in the Local app: Help > Reveal Local Logs and Help > Reveal Local Router’s Logs)
Thank you,
Megan
macOS is 10.15 on both machines
Local is 3.3.0 on both machines
Router Logs are clear on both machines.
With macOS 10.15 Catalina, Apple has hardened system-level protections against malicious applications. All applications must pass Notarization to be verified as safe, secure, and executable. Any applications that haven’t been notarized will encounter errors on macOS Catalina.
Here’s what you’ll need to do to get it working w/Catalina: https://getflywheel.com/wordpress-support/running-local-by-flywheel-on-macos-catalina/
If you still continue to run into issues, please attach your Local logs (Help > Reveal Local Logs).
Thanks!
I ran into the same trouble after upgrading to Catalina! Let us know if you have any trouble getting things back up and going.
