Can't import website

Issue Summary

I’m trying to import my website from the Hostinger backup files and database, however when I try to drag the .gz file, after processing for a while I get windows asking me for a flywheel permission, which I agree to and then an error pops up saying it’s unable to import the following sql files.

Troubleshooting Questions

  • Does this happen for all sites in Local, or just one in particular?

I’m trying to update to a newer version of a website I already have on local, that’s the only one I have though.

  • Are you able to create a new, plain WordPress site in Local and access it in a Browser?

Replication

Drag and drop the gz file imported from hostinger into local.

System Details

  • Which version of Local is being used?
    6.4.1+5978

  • What Operating System (OS) and OS version is being used?

    • Windows 10 family
  • Attach the Local Log. See this Help Doc for instructions on how to do so:

Security Reminder

Local does a pretty good job of scrubbing private info from the logs and the errors it produces, however there’s always the possibility that something private can come through. Because these are public forums, always review the screenshots you are sharing to make sure there isn’t private info like passwords being displayed.

Hello @_Flo! Welcome to the Local Community

Have you read this help doc regarding importing a site into Local? There are some specific files required in the .zip file.

If you’re trying to import a .gz file that may be the problem, this requires a .zip (with multiple files within).

Can you obtain a .zip from Hostinger?

Let’s start there,
