How can I change the name of my site in Local?

You can right-click on the sites list and select “Rename”.

Note that this will only rename the site within the Local UI – it won’t change any folder names or domain names. If you are wanting to keep those things in sync, the best way to “rename” a site, the foldername and the domain name would be to:

  1. Right-click on a site and select “Export”
  2. Drag and drop the zip file that the export creates onto Local
  3. Follow the prompts to import the site using the new name you choose
  4. Once the zip has finished importing and everything looks good, you can delete the original site!
