Does Local Forum and Local App use the same user name and pssword

Hi there,
I am new user and new member of this forum. As the title suggested, I am confused by the username/password systems of Local by Flywheel, do they use the same username/password?

Hi KC,

I believe they are separate login credentials. Local by flywheel will ask for a username and password for their hosting service. Do you have a flywheel hosting account?

Hi @_KC,

The username and password in Local are for the initial WordPress admin user that is added when the site is created.

If you have a Flywheel account and an account here, they’re all separate from each other.

Thanks for reply, no, I don’t have a Flywheel Hosting Account, I did not realized that Flywheel is web hosting company during the process that the information of Local by Flywheel approached me. As matter of fact, I am quiet amazed to discovered that Flywheel is a web hosting company after installation of Local app, it is kind of out of my imagination that a web hosting company will develop an app like this. :slight_smile:
