Edits to php.ini.hbs to increase performance

I ran across a post a week or two ago that advised editing the php.ini.hbs file (opcode entries) to improve performance of slowly loading Local sites. I did it, it worked, but cannot find the necessary changes again after the 5.5.1 update changed the file back.

Can anyone point me in the direction to the post or code additions?
