Enable Live Link does not work

I have checked some other posts with people having the same issue but I haven’t found a solution yet.

There is no error generated in the log, and the ngrok exe is present. But every time I press enable, it doesn’t do anything - I am never provided with a link. I’m using a custom environment so created a test site with preferred but it still doesn’t work.

Any help would be appreciated - I’m using Local to redevelop our site in collaboration with an external consultant but I’m unable to show them progress without this working.

I’m using Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 1809.

I have solved this - the issue was any outbound connections by ngrok were blocked by our Firewall as proxy avoidance. After adding an exception, the live link option works perfectly now.
