Error 504 , unable to start all our sites

We can’t open ours sites with local any more. First it gives this error:

When we click OK we can click on WP admin but the site doesn’t open en gives an ERROR 504.
Request timed out
if the error presists check the local router logs
We looked in the support and have done step one but we can’t open the site:

The router logs: 2022/11/03 10:14:39 [error] 9064#8040: *12 WSARecv() failed (10054: FormatMessage() error:(15100)) while reading response header from upstream, client: ::1, server: couldraiescom.local, request: “GET /wp-admin/ HTTP/1.1”, upstream: “”, host: “couldraiescom.local”

How can we proceed?

Troubleshooting Questions

  • Does this happen for all sites in Local, or just one in particular? all the sites, but it started with Couldraies.local
  • Are you able to create a new, plain WordPress site in Local and access it in a Browser? no
and we can’t export our sites neither

Describe the steps that others can take to replicate this issue. If you have screenshots that can help clarify what is happening, please include them!

System Details

  • Which version of Local is being used? 6.5.1

  • What Operating System (OS) and OS version is being used?

    • Windows XP
  • Attach the Local Log. See this Help Doc for instructions on how to do so: (13.3 KB)

Security Reminder

Local does a pretty good job of scrubbing private info from the logs and the errors it produces, however there’s always the possibility that something private can come through. Because these are public forums, always review the screenshots you are sharing to make sure there isn’t private info like passwords being displayed.

Is there someone who can help?

@caroline Hello! Did you try changing your router mode? More details on troubleshooting this here:

Can you provide a copy of your Local Log? Retrieving Local’s Log File

Yes I did, you can see it on the printscreen that is included.
But it didn’t work.
Any other ideas?

Do you have any antivirus, security, or firewall applications that could be blocking Local? It looks like from the log it might be having trouble connecting. Are you using any other developer applications?

You may need to check and see if any ports are blocked or being used. There are some steps in the Router Mode document above.
