Error establishing a database connection -- Not able to access my website

I am not able to access my wp website. I have done wp version upgrade, but it was working fine after 2 days all of sudden it showed up this error. I have deleted the existing website and reinstalled it no use same error. Is there anyone who can help me out in solving the error. I want to rid out of this as soon as possible and I have to deliver the website on urgent base.

Hi @rohitbalecfc

Does the issue happen if you create a new, blank site as well? Or is it only the specific site you’re working on?

You might check over some of our Windows troubleshooting items in our help article here to make sure nothing started to block Local.

Hi @Nick-B ,

It happens for specific site which I am working on. please assist how to solve

@Nick-B , I have tried the troubleshoot which you have shared but it is not working

@Nick-B , It is a WordPress multisite has 80+ sites and each site has different domains.

That’s quite a large multisite @rohitbalecfc - it might be that your device is timing out or there is a resource issue. Is there plenty of disc space available?

You might check through some of our performance troubleshooting and multisite in Local tips here:

@Nick-B, on my device I have enough disc space available. I do not thick it is time out issue cause when I used x-debug it use to take 2-3 minutes to load site but it use to work properly. This is some thing else I am not able to identify it. I have uploaded a screen shot of configuration on wp local. I have upload a wp multisite zip but it didn’t recognize it. and I have not find and local.sql file
The backup.sql file is uploaded by me

It looks like the site in your screenshot isn’t a multisite. You also won’t be able to directly import a multisite zip in Local. You’ll have to manually create the multisite first and then manually import the content per the instructions in our guide I linked above.

I have deleted the site and uploaded it again but it fails to recognize the SQL file

How are you uploading it?

using this instructions

Import/Export a WordPress Site - Local

My zip file contains wordpress file and backup.sql file

First you will have to create a new multisite in Local using the steps here:

Then you will need to import your multisite into Local using the steps here along with updating your domains with some custom SQL queries:

Hello @Nick-B, I have deleted all my wp websites and uninstalled the wp local and installed the new version of wp-local and try to install by uploading the whole file once again and This worked for me. Thank you for your support.
