Local does a pretty good job of scrubbing private info from the logs and the errors it produces, however there’s always the possibility that something private can come through. Because these are public forums, always review the screenshots you are sharing to make sure there isn’t private info like passwords being displayed.
You might start by trying to change your Router Mode in case there is a conflict here.
Preferences>Advanced>Router Mode
We also have a Windows Troubleshooting guide below that goes over some common items worth checking. For example, make sure you’re running Local as an admin user, that you don’t have any security blockers, and that Local has access to update your Hosts file.
I just changed my site domain settings to ‘localhost’ in Preferences. However, when I create a website, the admin panel opens instead of the site, and the front-end shows an HTTP 404 error.
I haven’t even installed any other app. I resolved this issue through the Preferences setting by switching the router mode from Domain to Localhost. However, I’m now facing this issue. Please look into it and respond immediately, as it’s an emergency for me. I’ve attached a picture of the problem for reference.
