Security Reminder
Local does a pretty good job of scrubbing private info from the logs and the errors it produces, however there’s always the possibility that something private can come through. Because these are public forums, always review the screenshots you are sharing to make sure there isn’t private info like passwords being displayed.

Hi @Franklyn
What version of Windows specifically are you on?
Have you tried changing your Router Mode yet?

So it doesn’t make a difference if it’s on Localhost or Site Domains?
You might check some items like these:
Make sure you running as an admin user
Make sure Local has access to update the machine including Hosts File
Check if Local is being blocked by any security, antivirus or firewall applications
Here are some examples:
This is usually caused by the hosts file being set to read-only or locked by anti-virus.
1. Remove Read-only Attribute
Go to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc
Right-click on the hosts file and go to “Properties”
Uncheck “Read-only”
Click “Apply”
Re-open Local
