How do I install PhP 8.2 Manually Instead of the Normal Way?

What issue or error are you experiencing?

For some reason, LocalWp cannot install PhP 8.2 fast. It took 30 mins to just get to 25 out of 115 MB, my internet is fast yet it is still happening.

What steps can be taken to replicate the issue? Feel free to include screenshots, videos, etc

I want to install PHP 8.2 manually, can anyone assist me in this situation?

Security Reminder
Local does a pretty good job of scrubbing private info from the logs and the errors it produces, however, there’s always the possibility that something private can come through. Because these are public forums, always review the screenshots you are sharing to make sure there isn’t private info like passwords being displayed.

That’s definitely a bit abnormal. Is there anything unique about your connection? Are you using a VPN, broadband or a company/office network?

Are you running other developer applications simultaneously? That could also cause similar issues. Apps like MAMP, XAMPP, or Docker for example.

Do you have any antivirus, security, or firewall applications that could be throttling Local?
