I’m running Debian 11 and downloaded local-9.0.2-linux.deb.
It installs but I don’t know how to launch it? That is- get Local to run.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Peter

I usually run in Ubuntu or Pop_OS when I’m on Linux and use their launcher to start Local.
I don’t have a Debian box handy to investigate, but I think that Local is installed to somewhere in /opt
. So if Debian doesn’t have a launcher that shows Local as an option, then you might need to start Local from the command line.
This might not be the right command, but something like:
/opt/Local/local
Can you take a look and see if either of those options (a launcher or the terminal) get you going?
Found it- the start icon was located in Applications- Programming-----Local
Thanks.
