How to Upgrade PHP Version to 8.2

I am using WP Engine for my site There is an update to upgrade the MySQL version to 8.0 in WP Engine Screenshot by Lightshot WP Engine has suggested using Localwp App to update the MySQL version to 8.0, So I have successfully setup my website in the Localwp app with the help of the WP Engine API but, there is a new update in WP Engine to update the PHP version to 8.2 Screenshot by Lightshot but in my Localwp app I am not able to update the PHP version to 8.2 in the dropdown it’s showing 8.0 and 8.1 Screenshot by Lightshot how I can update the PHP version to 8.2 in the local wp app


What steps can be taken to replicate the issue? Feel free to include screenshots, videos, etc

  • Operating System (OS) and OS version: - windows 10

Local does a pretty good job of scrubbing private info from the logs and the errors it produces, however there’s always the possibility that something private can come through. Because these are public forums, always review the screenshots you are sharing to make sure there isn’t private info like passwords being displayed.

If you create a new, blank site in Local can you select the Custom option and change the PHP version to PHP 8.2? If you can do that, then you can use the Local Connect cloud icon in the bottom right-hand corner to pull your WPE install into an “Existing” install instead of creating a new one. That will keep the PHP version on 8.2.
