System Details

  • Which version of Local is being used?

  • What Operating System (OS) and OS version is being used?

    • For example: macOS Catalina or Windows 10 Professional
  • Attach the Local Log. See this Help Doc for instructions on how to do so:

Security Reminder

Local does a pretty good job of scrubbing private info from the logs and the errors it produces, however there’s always the possibility that something private can come through. Because these are public forums, always review the screenshots you are sharing to make sure there isn’t private info like passwords being displayed.

Hi @Asif, thank you for using Local!

Local does not allow you to swap databases after the site has been created. The database is set when you first create the site during Environment Setup. Are you saying MariaDB isn’t an option for you in this dropdown? I can see it on my Windows environment.

Thanks,
Austin

Here is only one option which is maria DB.

Hi @Asif - here is the same screen on my computer, Local version 6.4.0 Are you unable to expand the dropdown that you circled? MySQL versions should be available for download for all users.

MY local is not expanding the dropdown that I circled.
