I’ve tried to use Local a few times but I run into issues which I think are related to the fact that my host uses MariaDB rather than MySQL. So when I extract a site to Local it kinda works but seems to encounter errors and eventually falls over.
My understanding is that LocalWP doesn’t support MariaDB but I’d like to know if anyone has a workaround as MariaDB and MySQL seems to be fairly interchangeable in most environments.
