I Want Help For Flywheel Local Keeping Error 502 Bad Gateway

Hello Local Community :blush:

I am relatively new to using Local by Flywheel & I am encountering an issue thats been a bit puzzling. Whenever I try to access my local site I keep getting a 502 Bad Gateway error. Also I have tried rebooting my computer, cleanup the cache on my browser, and even restarting Local, but the issue still persists. :slightly_frowning_face:

I am running Local version 5.10.5 on a Windows 10 machine. My site uses WordPress with a few custom plugins and a theme.

Could anyone please suggest me guidance on how to resolve this 502 Bad Gateway issue? Has anybody else faced this issue and given up with a good solution?

I want any advice or actions you could recommend that I take to find and resolve this issue. We would be very grateful for your assist. Thank you in advance for your assistance. I want your responses as soon as possible

If you’re new to Local I’m a little puzzled how you managed to start on version 5.10.5 which is almost several years old at this point. Can you verify that version info?

Regarding the 502 errors, if you create a new, blank site in Local do you get errors there? If your site is using some custom plugins and themes it could be that the issue is specific to that site’s configuration, indicating a conflict at play within the site itself. If you don’t get any errors working in other sites then that may be the case and you could do some troubleshooting to help narrow down the culprit like deactivating all of your plugins and turning them back on 1 at a time, swapping out our theme, or using a plugin like Query Monitor.

If you get a 502 error no matter what site you try to access, it might be a deeper issue with your connection, network, or some other conflict on your machine.
