Hi @Webdesign53

We would be happy to assist with your Local troubleshooting! Could you provide some more details to help us take a further look?

  • What is your OS version?

  • What version of Local are you on?

  • Please attach a copy of your Local Logs

Keep us posted and we’d be happy to help further!

Dank je wel voor je reactie.
Ik gebruik MacOS Sequoia 15.1. Versie van Local is versie 9.1.0+6719
local-logs.zip (47.9 KB)
Hopelijk kun je zo bij mijn lokale logboeken? I zie nl geen bijlage mogelijkheid.

Hi Nick,

I respond your request yesterday already in Local support but I will do it here as well.

My OS version is MacOS Sequoia 15.1

The current version of Local is 9.1.0+6719

In the attachement the copy of my Local logs

I can’t wait hearing from you. Thank you in advance.

Hi @Webdesign53

Apologies for the delay here!

As a test, are you able to create a new blank site in Local and access that okay? If you can, then you may want to try reimporting the site getting the errors. We noticed some mention in your error logs of MySQL 5.7, so to proceed you might try using 8.0 and see if that changes the outcome. The steps would look like this:

  • Locate the site files on your machine, and save a copy of them to your desktop. If you click Go to Site Folder under your site name it should take you right to where they are located.
  • Once you have those copied, completely delete the site from Local
  • Restart Local/your machine
  • Reimport the site back into Local. You can refer here on how to Restore from only Local site files

If you’re not able to create and access a new site, what about if you change your Router Mode to Localhost? Preferences>Advanced>Router Mode

Goodmorning Nick,

I’ll try what you asking me. I hope it will succeed. I am not such a I.T. woman ()

I’ll let you know, also when it isn’t possible for me.

Hi Nick,

I made a new site. I copied the site files from my broken site and I put them on my desktop.

Now I can copy them to the new site, is that what you mean?

After that I delete my broken site? And rename the new site?

I want to know this for sure before I do this. I give you some screenshots tot look it over for me if it is oke.

Hi @Webdesign53

That’s correct! As long as the new blank site is working okay for you you can go ahead and reimport your site you were working on and hopefully it will work as it should again.

If you’re concerned about losing any work just make sure you have the site/files copied and saved to your desktop or storage before deleting anything.

Sorry Nick

I am unable to re-import the broken site. I did what you asked, so I put the copies on the desktop and imported the original local files from the broken site into the new one. Then closed Local and restarted again. I try to import the local files again. Then I get the message: ‘error importing site’(see print screen). At the local page I see something about mailpit? It will not be fixed when I restart Local again. So I don’t understand what I must do now? Is it possible you can look with me in my computer with TeamViewer? I’m sad that it doesn’t work out and I might have to do everything over again.

Finally you will see a print screen of my broken site. I got this when I tried to open the site again. Maybe you can do something with that?

I hope you can help me still.

When you’re importing the site back into Local did you zip the files up together before importing them?

If you did zip them up and that’s not working are you able to manually import the content and SQL with the steps here? Manually Import a Local Site

Hi Nick,

Yesterday I tried to fix everything. The migration was successful but still I have nothing (look at the screenshot). I decided to make the whole website again in my own domain.

Thank you very much but it will not succeed on this way.

Have a nice weekend.

PS I couldn’t send the screenshot: it was to big.
