Hey @Heinrichdsf, Welcome to the Local Community Forums!
That’s definitely odd behavior. Just double-checking – when you view the actual contents of the wp-content/uploads folder, the individual files are missing as well?
When upgrading to this version of Local, was there any additional things that were done? For example, was there an update to the site’s environment? Did anything unusually happen like the computer lost power, or went into standby mode before the update could finish?
As far as the other pieces of Local’s functionality – are those working? For example, can you create new sites and import site backups?
You might try restoring the site to a new one in Local. You can use a backup of the site, or try using the files for the site by following the steps outlined in the “Restoring From Only Local Site files” section of this help doc:
That’s correct, when I viewed the wp-content/uploads folder it was empty!
There was no environment update done when I did the new update. I can indeed create new sites and import backups.
I’ve since had to rebuild th site on the clients server so no need to redo it locally now. New sites I’ve created since the update appear to be ok so not sure what went wrong.
