Images with Live Link not working

Hey all,

When activating the Live Link so my client can take a look at the site that I am building for them, none of the images will show. I am using Divi for this specific site, if that matters. For example, when viewing the site with the link, username, and password provided, things like the Logo and images will just not show. Am I doing something wrong or is this normal activity? I’ve followed steps that I found in other forum posts but I’m still unable to get the images to show.

Security Reminder
Local does a pretty good job of scrubbing private info from the logs and the errors it produces, however there’s always the possibility that something private can come through. Because these are public forums, always review the screenshots you are sharing to make sure there isn’t private info like passwords being displayed.

You mention following some steps in other posts. Does that mean the things in this topic:

Otherwise, my next question would be regarding SSL - is the site running over https:// and the media files are http://? That would be a mixed content issue and cause images to not display.

For SSL, I tried using SSL and not and still wasn’t able to get it to work.

I missed the forum post that you shared, though. I’m not sure where to check for CSS background-image in Divi.

For Divi there is a Static CSS Generation option you can clear out. It’s usually found here:
