[Implemented] ETA for MySQL < 8?

Is there an ETA for the ability to select different versions of MySQL (and PHP) in Local (Beta)?
I seem to remember reading a while back that things were prepared for this, and it probably would make my life easier, as Iā€™m getting quiet a few errors when migrating sites from Local to staging or live servers ā€“ the same migration with the same data, but from MySQL 5.x sources, is usually flawless.

Local 5.2.0 Beta is now available and includes MySQL 5.7. :smiley:
