I have a problem with Local and before I reload it I have zip file a site and tried importing it on to Local on another computer. When I try opening the Import I get the message Configuration Error - your wp-config.php file has an empty database table prefix, which is not supported. I have tried zipping twice but receive the the same message when I import file. I’ve tried copying the files directly into the site - same message. If I reload program, will it wipe out original files? What should I do?
My laptop ran out of power while Flywheel was active. Powered up the machine and now the Flywheel program will not load and message’says ‘loading local machine’
Any help out there? My program is still hanging 24 hours later and will not open. Apart from knowing what to do, I particularly would like advice about what not to do. If I delete Flywheel and re-install it will I lose the 5 or 6 websites I have created?

Hi Des,
I’m very sorry for the trouble!
Can you please try the following? How can I restore a site from a Local site folder?
Also, are you on macOS or Windows?
Thanks for getting back to me. The problem has a risen on my Windows
computer with the program hanging. I’ve created websites for clients and
fear I have lost or will lose them hours of work and inspiration. I’ll
tried program on MAC to resolve the issue by zipping the files in My
Document and importing to MAC program and then receiving the message config
file missing. I re-copied conf files into the program but same message
received.
My fundamental question is: If I remove Flywheel from Windows computer and
reload it, will I lose my created websites?
