Importing a site from previous version of Local

What issue or error are you experiencing?

Hi,
I have the files of a site that I built with an old version of Local and which I want to import to the current version. In that version the sql folder contains many files instead of only one file like in the current version. This is the same problem mentioned in How to open site created with previous version of Local? - #11 but no solution was offered there. Unfortunately I don’t have the previous installation, just the files. Importing a zip containing the entire sql folder didn’t work…
Any feedback would be appreciated!

What steps can be taken to replicate the issue? Feel free to include screenshots, videos, etc

Security Reminder
Local does a pretty good job of scrubbing private info from the logs and the errors it produces, however there’s always the possibility that something private can come through. Because these are public forums, always review the screenshots you are sharing to make sure there isn’t private info like passwords being displayed.

Hi @gad

You’ll have to do a manual import. You can spin up a new, blank site in Local first and then manually import your WP-Content if you have that similar to our guide here: Manually Import a Local Site

For the database however you’ll have to import the individual tables manually as I described in that other thread:
