You could run through our guide below to see if there are any common performance blockers:
It sounds like this might be more of a network/connection issue, however. When you’re testing it on mobile are you using the WiFi or LTE data? Do you have the ability to test Live Links over a different network and see if there is any change?
Is the site very large and resource heavy? Any large images, video or audio files? Large database?
If it’s not, and you’ve been through the performance items above then as an alternative you might try moving the site to a Demo or Staging environment somewhere if you need to showcase it to a client or peer. For example Flywheel has a free 14 day demo. Demo Site

I just tried a test on my computer, using the Live Link url and it took 60 seconds after entering the username and password, for the page to appear.
The username and password prompt appears instantly.
When you’re working on the site in the Local app is the WP admin backend slow or work normally? When you click Open Site can you navigate around that quickly or does it lag?
Well, that’s good to hear. It sounds like the Local app is working normally then, and the Live Link is slow whether you’re on the same network as your machine or whether you’re on LTE data. So there may still be some configuration in the site itself that’s contributing. Would you be willing to DM me your Live Link and credentials while your Local app is running?
Something weird is going on.
I just generated a new Live Link with the VPN disabled and still get a 404.
I’ll dig in further and get back to you Nick.
Sorry for the extra hassle here @Zeff! Hopefully, that will get you where you need to go. I’m assuming something got disrupted in the connection with the VPN being toggled and it might need a reset somewhere. If you have any other questions or issues don’t hesitate to come back!
