Hello, I updated my Local to the latest version, but it doesn’t work anymore when I open the program nothing appears, I can see in the task manager that there are some files working from the local .exe. I tried to reinstall the application and deleted every file related to the app but it doesn’t seem to solve the problem.
Security Reminder
Local does a pretty good job of scrubbing private info from the logs and the errors it produces, however there’s always the possibility that something private can come through. Because these are public forums, always review the screenshots you are sharing to make sure there isn’t private info like passwords being displayed.
We have a Windows Troubleshooting guide below that goes over some common items worth checking. For example, make sure you’re running Local as an admin user, that you don’t have any security blockers, and that Local has access to update your Hosts file.
Thanks for your response! Nothing seems to work for me ); I tried all the methods, but still nothing happens when I open up Local. I have a 64x Windows, maybe I need to reinstall the older version of Local which was working fine.
I found a solution to the problem. I did two things, firstly, I deleted every folder related to the application including the ones in the roaming folder, secondly, I went to the Windows security then Firewall & network protection, and disabled the protection on the Domain and the local and public networks.
