Local by flywheel stuck on start local machine

Hi,

I’ve tried to see others posts when they are stuck on ‘starting on local’ but most of the time they request the log file and resolve issue so I cannot resolve mine. I’ve tried numerous installations and restarting computer. I’ve installed version 2.3.3 and that kept saying ‘checking’ and tried 2.3.1 and now 2.3.0 which just get stuck on start local machine. Please help!

I am having the same problem.

EDIT: I stopped Local in VirtualBox, updated VirtualBox and restarted Local. Seems to have fixed it for me.

Hi, thanks for comment. I’m actually trying to do a course on developing in wordpress and instructor says to install local by flywheel so I’m new to all this and don’t know anything about virtual box. I installed it but I don’t see local running in virtualbox - do you know where I would see that so that I can stop it. Thanks
