Local Isn't Pulling Entire Media Uploads Folder

I’m testing a number of sites on MySQL 8.0, and using Local to pull them to my machine. Everything seems to be working fine, except it won’t pull all the images in my media folder, and therefor they won’t show up on my local site. I can look at the local site folder on my machine and I can see the proper folder breakdowns in wp-uploads, but they’re all empty. Even in my media library there’s references to the images - the Alt tags and title tags and even the image dimensions are all present, but the image is just blank and non existent.

Is this a problem with Local or am I missing a setting or something somewhere preventing Local from pulling images from wp-uploads?

Security Reminder
Local does a pretty good job of scrubbing private info from the logs and the errors it produces, however there’s always the possibility that something private can come through. Because these are public forums, always review the screenshots you are sharing to make sure there isn’t private info like passwords being displayed.

How large is the site and the media folder? Maybe it’s just hanging up somewhere and not transferred. You could use a plugin like WP Migrate Lite, for example, to just pull a copy of that directory to manually import it into Local. You could accomplish similar via FTP if you’re comfortable with that as well.
