Local refuses to answer at at regular intervals from outside the network

Issue Summary

When accessing local from the internet. Local refuses to answer at regular intervals and the browser hangs. A restart of any site will correct the issue and you can connect again fine.

There is no port conflict on port 80. tested with: sudo lsof -tnP -i:80 | xargs -n 1 ps -p

Your help would be appreciated

  • Does this happen for all sites in Local, or just one in particular?


  • Are you able to create a new, plain WordPress site in Local and access it in a Browser?

Just keep local running for an hour or so and it stops answering

Security Reminder

Local does a pretty good job of scrubbing private info from the logs and the errors it produces, however there’s always the possibility that something private can come through. Because these are public forums, always review the screenshots you are sharing to make sure there isn’t private info like passwords being displayed.
