Local shows successful pull without updating the actual code

Issue Summary

I’m trying to pull sites from wpengine to my local machine, I follow the steps of pulling a site,
after successful pull, I still have the blank WordPress site.

Troubleshooting Questions

  • Does this happen for all sites in Local, or just one in particular?
    All sites

  • Are you able to create a new, plain WordPress site in Local and access it in a Browser?
    Yes
