Hey Guys!
I have Local Teams and for some reason whenever i want to create a new site in my site path (Local Sites)…it doesn’t create the site in a new folder with the site name (ie…Local Sites > new site > app, logs ). Instead it just creates the app and logs folder in the Local Sites (ie…Local Sites > app, logs). If i switch to my self as the collaborator then everything works just fine?
Thanks,
Steven Wilson
Hey @justwil –
Each Organization has it’s own workspace as well as the personal workspace. The default location for the personal workspace is ~/Local Sites, which for an organization, it is ~/Local Sites Org Name
For example, I have an organization called the Hispaniola and here’s where those sites are located for me:
Do you have another folder like the above for your Organization, or are these sites not being created correctly?
If you are still having issues, can you please provide your local-by-flywheel.log file? See
“How do I retrieve Local's log file? - FAQ - Local Community” for instructions on how to do so.
Hey Ben,
Thanks for the reply. So if i leave the folder path the same, i can see the name of the organization and the new sites folder (testing).
Now, if i hit the continue button i get this error:
When i get that error i switch to another path where the testing folder can be created:
That seems to work but it doesnt create the new sites testing folder in the wow folder, it just creates the app and logs folders:
Here are the local logs: local-by-flywheel.log (129.0 KB)
Thanks!
Based on the first and second image i posted…it seems like the correct path isn’t being generated properly…a forward slash isn’t being created (ie…/Users). Whereas in my other images a forward slash is being created hence the reason why it worked.
Thanks!
