Mac users of LocalWP have a problem; trusting SSL with the button in the UI doesn’t work. MacOS silently blocks this request for security reasons.

I’ve been using a script for years to manually trust all untrusted certificates automatically, but today I decided to create an add-on for this (And I used Claude with Fable 5 to do the grunt work).

The usual disclaimers apply;

  • If you don’t like AI generated software, then don’t use it
  • Just because it works for me, doesn’t mean it will work for you (but I doubt it will fail)
  • If you have issues, suggestions etc, please engage on github
