Security Reminder
Local does a pretty good job of scrubbing private info from the logs and the errors it produces, however there’s always the possibility that something private can come through. Because these are public forums, always review the screenshots you are sharing to make sure there isn’t private info like passwords being displayed.

Hi @kdcpelt

Outside of Local does your machine slow down or indicate that it’s struggling at all? Slow to open/close other apps, fan is running loud, etc?

We aren’t able to replicate this issue, but if your machine isn’t having any other problems then you might try saving your sites and then uninstalling and reinstalling Local to see if a refresh helps.

No other significant slow-downs. I’ve got a zippy laptop…no straining fans or visible perspiration on the computer (ha-ha).

So I’ll follow the steps prescribed and circle back if need be…appreciate the quick reply. I’m a newb to local dev. One of the things I find lamentable (not about Local) but I’m working with Bricks and I cannot copy/past elements or styles between elements. Its the way Bricks works. So I can only get so far before I am hampered by that limitation and I have to take it to a web server anyway.

But good for getting thigns started.

@kdcpelt glad that your hardware is at least running smoothly. If only Bricks could be as optimized
