What issue or error are you experiencing?

It started with:
Warning: mysqli_real_connect(): (HY000/2002): No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it in C:\Users\liket\Local Sites\r\app\public\wp-includes\class-wpdb.php on line 1988

I was able to get the backup from /app/sql working but it doesn’t have my latest changes.

What steps can be taken to replicate the issue? Feel free to include screenshots, videos, etc

Well, I can’t reproduce it now since I have been troubleshooting on my own.

  • Operating System (OS) and OS version: Win10

Security Reminder
Local does a pretty good job of scrubbing private info from the logs and the errors it produces, however there’s always the possibility that something private can come through. Because these are public forums, always review the screenshots you are sharing to make sure there isn’t private info like passwords being displayed.

Hi @dthompson! We have a Windows Troubleshooting guide below that goes over some common items worth checking. For example, ensure that Local is running as an administrator, that there are no security blockers, and that Local has access to update the Hosts file.
