My custom post type pages are all giving 404 errors

What issue or error are you experiencing?

I have the custom post type “galleries”. All of them still exist in the WP backend. But when I try to access through a link on the site or through “view page” in the backend, I just get a 404 error. Everything was working fine last week.

What steps can be taken to replicate the issue? Feel free to include screenshots, videos, etc

Security Reminder
Local does a pretty good job of scrubbing private info from the logs and the errors it produces, however there’s always the possibility that something private can come through. Because these are public forums, always review the screenshots you are sharing to make sure there isn’t private info like passwords being displayed.

Hey @MKuhn!

A few things you might check:

  • Try resaving your Permalinks
  • Check if any of your plugins or themes have cache stored or a Regenerate CSS option, here are some examples: The Flywheel guide to clearing your theme/plugin cache
  • Check the dev console when viewing the link and see if there are any errors pointing to the file path not lining up, mixed content, etc
