The latest patch version of PHP 8.4 available in Local is PHP 8.4.4 which came out in February.
Is it possible for end-users to update to a later version of the patch, or do we still depend on the app to make each patch version available?

Hey @scottbuscemi - it is not possible for end users to update patches themselves, the engineering team has to compile new versions and make them available on our CDN before they’ll appear in the app.
I can make a ticket for PHP 8.4 specifically - is there a feature/fix in a patch version you’re looking to use? Or is the question more about patch versions generally in Local? Either way, great question and an improvement to the app!
Ideally it’d be helpful for the patch versions to be updated more often to ensure full site compatibility
But in this case, I was hoping to test something out with WordPress Core when using PHP 8.4.8.
