Il semble que la page Web de http://maxetsylvie.local/wp-admin/ rencontre peut-être des problèmes ou qu’elle ait été déplacée définitivement vers une nouvelle adresse web.
ERR_TUNNEL_CONNECTION_FAILED
What steps can be taken to replicate the issue? Feel free to include screenshots, videos, etc
We have a Windows Troubleshooting guide below that goes over some common items worth checking. For example, make sure you’re running Local as an admin user, that you don’t have any security blockers, and that Local has access to update your Hosts file.
You might also try changing your Router Mode to see if that makes a difference: Preferences>Advanced>Router Mode
i test it on 4 computers concern one works fine…
2 other works after i created another user on the computers … Locals does not work on the main session but on the side one yes… Why can’t say ^^
one left still with the same problem
If it works when you create a new user that makes me think that the issue is with privileges. Were your previous users admins? Or did you check if you were running Local as administrator?
I don’t know Thats strange cause the computer was only one user and i had to create a new for each one in order to make it work.
But first one was Eloïse (special caractere)
Second one (Max&Sylvie) Special caractere too
Third: Juliette work fine no need to create a new user
And last MaxetSylvie no special caracter but does not work so i create a new user profil.
I try all the things manage to change the HOST run as administrator etc
Also i manage to change all the special caractere but still not work i had to create new user…
Nevermind that work not the way we want but better than nothing.
I have a last question we want to work at 8 hands on this one (4 people) is there a way to connect to the same local website on 4 differents computer?
Cause we all connect to the same Local count but when we create a site it’s 4 independants website. Is it possible to work on the same?
I’m glad you were able to get things working eventually. The Special Characters issue can be pesky.
As far as working with your entire team on one site I’m afraid that’s not something easily achieved with Local. For a more collaborative experience you might be better off setting up a site on a server that everyone can interact with. Each person could import a copy of the site into Local and migrate back to the server when they are done. Or multiple people could be logged in at the same time on the server side if needed.
I thought if each person work on a different page maybe after that we can download all the file and place it in a file on the same computer and have all of them in the same Local?
After each person have done is page we take all the data/files and transfert it to the right files in the computer 1 doas the web site of computer one will af 4 pages done and only have the link between them to do?
Just a question. They are me and 3 students and i try to make them work at the same time on it
Something like that could work @Maxetsylvie without too much conflict I suppose. You can use a free plugin like WP Migrate to export only what is necessary and share to the person who will be uploading everything.
Thanks a lot we will try that. This is the hard way but if that work that will be a good lesson and other things will seems easier.
Last question but not least we already avec an Ecwid shop is it possible to import it to work on it on locals.
I know Ecwid and WP are compatible but in local?
I haven’t tested using Ecwid in Local myself, and I don’t see any history of users asking about it in the forums. I don’t see any reason why it wouldn’t work but it might be a good idea to check their forums/documentation/support as they might have some certain settings or configuration recommendations for working with their product locally.
Sorry to say I don’t have any experience with Ecwid @Maxetsylvie so I can’t give you an endorsement but I’ll leave this thread open in case any other users spot it and want to chime in with their opinions
