Re-instate my local sites to LocalByFlywheel from backup?

I hope this is the correct Topic for which to post this:

I had to do an emergency wipe and rebuild of my Windows machine - and I have a copy of the previous
“C:\Users*Name*\Local Sites” folder which contained LocalByFlywheel sites. I would now like to re-instate these site into the new LocalByFlwheel environment on the rebuilt machine.

I have not yet been able to find any documentation on how to do this.

Thoughts?

Thank you for any help,
Doug

I had the same issue when I had to rebuild my issue. Unfortunately I could not find a resolution and had to rebuild my client’s site I was working on. I also lost my new site that I was building for my business. I still haven’t had he time to rebuild that one. I tried multiple times using different methods and nothing worked.

I chatted with support as well and they just pointed me to the forum. Sorry that I couldn’t really help ya! Just know that you aren’t the only one. This is a big issue that needs to be resolved.

Good luck!
Mark

Hey @Doug,

I would give this a try:

It is a manual process but as long as you have the files and database backed up should get you back up and running.

Thank you for that information. The instructions make sense, but when I go to run:
“myloader -p -d /app/sql --overwrite-tables --database local”

It says:

‘myloader’ is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.

Myloader is not in the system32 command list so trying to figure it out - not my bag so will take some digging . . .

Thanks again for pointing me in the right direction.

Cheers,
Doug
