I also noticed that I am unable to see the WordPress version I get the 3 dots the show up when connecting and this never stops.

I am stuck and troubleshooting this error any help will be appreciated.

Hi @ContessaA

Do you have any antivirus, security, or firewall applications that could be blocking Local? That might be a good place to start.

More details about troubleshooting this here: Router Mode

If you’re still having trouble please share your Local Log. Retrieving Local’s Log File

@Nick-B thank you for your quick response.

I have turned off the anti virus and firewall before I downloaded.

I reviewed the logs and I do have errors:

It looks like something is still blocking Local. Do you have any other developer applications running?

Did you try troubleshooting with the Router Mode guide I provided above?

I am getting the same message:
5696#1596: *1 connect() failed (10061: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it) while connecting to upstream, client: ::1, server: fictional-university.local, request: “GET / HTTP/1.1”, upstream: “http://127.0.0.1:10008/”, host: “fictional-university.local”

I will try with a different laptop and see if I can connect.

Thanks for your help!
