Server Can't Upload Images

I am creating a client’s website using Local on my iMac Ventura 13.5.1 desktop and since yesterday, have been unable to upload images to Local. I get this message: “The server cannot process the image. This can happen if the server is busy or does not have enough resources to complete the task.”

The last image that couldn’t be uploaded was 600 px X 724 px.

I’m using Local version 7.1.2+6410, web server = nginx, PHP = 8.1.9.

This type of error is common with developing and not necessarily Local specific. There are some steps in this guide that might be helpful:
