Hi all, I’ve been using Local for a year without issues. I’ve version 3.3.0 running on macOS. Today, I cannot load any sites at all. The machine does start, but viewing a site in a browser gives error 502 Request Error. The router’s log says:
2019/08/27 11:48:25 [error] 6#6: *5 connect() failed (111: Connection refused) while connecting to upstream, client: 192.168.95.1, server: studiogest.local, request: “GET /it/ HTTP/1.1”, upstream: “http://192.168.95.100:4000/it/”, host: “www.studiogest.local”
I’ve tried the following:
- reboot my Mac
- restart Local Machine
- restart site
- change PHP version
- clone site
Nothing seems to help!

An update: in my Local, I’ve two sites. The first was imported some time ago, the other is a clone created with a local environment update:
studiogest.local and studiogest-clone.local
In fact, this clone is what I’m using.
Turns out Local is redirecting the browser to the original site, which is not running.
Until the site starts and you see a version in all sections on the Local window, you will get a 502/503 error until it does. http://flywheel.link/27cf2e1e59e3 (screenshot of the dots). Just give it another moment or so to load. If you continue to have issues:
A few questions I have to ask before we get started troubleshooting your Local issue:
• What computer OS are you using?
• What version of VirtualBox is installed (If applicable, this software is bundled with your initial Local installation)?
• What version of Local are you currently using?
