Security Reminder
Local does a pretty good job of scrubbing private info from the logs and the errors it produces, however there’s always the possibility that something private can come through. Because these are public forums, always review the screenshots you are sharing to make sure there isn’t private info like passwords being displayed.

for anyone who may have similar issue. add ‘useSSL=FALSE’ to your URL if connecting that way:

jdbc:mysql:///local?junixsocket.file=/Users//Library/Application Support/Local/run/KedrFYVKg/mysql/mysqld.sock&socketFactory=org.newsclub.net.mysql.AFUNIXDatabaseSocketFactoryCJ&useSSL=FALSE

Glad to hear you found a workaround @mc2prod! We’d be happy to help troubleshoot this some for you however and figure out what changed when you updated previously.

Can you share some more details about the issues you’ve run into the last 6 months and any other workarounds you’ve had to use? Feel free to share any screenshots as well.

As a reminder you can always downgrade to older versions of Local as well if you encounter a bug:
