(Solved - see reply) New install of Local - no Customize link under Appearance - Please help

Issue Summary

Just installed Local and when I go to the Appearance Tab the Customize link is not there.

Troubleshooting Questions

  • Does this happen for all sites in Local, or just one in particular?

All sites in Local and I created a new Admin with no luck.

  • Are you able to create a new, plain WordPress site in Local and access it in a Browser?
    Yes

  • Which version of Local is being used? Latest…just downloaded

  • What Operating System (OS) and OS version is being used?

    • For example: macOS Catalina or Windows 10 Professional

Security Reminder

Local does a pretty good job of scrubbing private info from the logs and the errors it produces, however there’s always the possibility that something private can come through. Because these are public forums, always review the screenshots you are sharing to make sure there isn’t private info like passwords being displayed.

Disregard. I figured it out. It appears for some reason if you’re using the 2022 Wordpress theme “Customize” is missing. I switched themes to 2021 and “Customize” appeared under the “Appearance” tab.
