Some problem editing the host file

I just installed Local and ran into this problem:

I have found the log file, it can be reached here, but unless you got the password from me by pm or similar, you won’t be able to access it, since I am not sure whether it contains personal information:

Hope you know how to help me!

Already tried:

  • Starting as admin
  • Reinstalling

Are you running anti-virus or an internet security suite of some type? It may be locking your hosts file.

I was searching for a solution so desperately all day, and never checked if Kaspersky was blocking the hosts file. Of course it was.
