It looks like there’s some sort of issues initializing a new site because of an error with MySQL. Do you have the latest version of Local which can be downloaded and installed from here in the forums:

https://localwp.com/community/c/releases/11

If the problem is still occuring in the latest version of Local, can you please provide your Local Log so we can have some more details about what’s going on? See this Community Forum post for instructions on how to do so:

Can you also let us know if you have any antivirus software running that might be interfering with Local’s ability to create files?

One other question – is this happening when importing a site from a zip file, or is this happening when trying to create a new, plain WordPress site as well?

A few questions to help us zero in on what’s going on!

  • What version of Local are you using?
  • What Operating System and OS version is being used?
  • Can you please provide your Local Log? See this Community Forum post for instructions on how to do so:
  • Were you ever able to create sites, or has this been happening since first installing Local?
