Speed is same as when I develop on a live server?

Issue Summary

Just started using Local Pro. I was thinking there would be a big speed benefit in terms of saving, navigating admin, previewing, etc. but it really feels pretty much identical to developing on a live server. Is this normal?

Troubleshooting Questions

  • Does this happen for all sites in Local, or just one in particular? Local

  • Are you able to create a new, plain WordPress site in Local and access it in a Browser? Yes.

  • Which version of Local is being used? 5.10.3+5332

  • What Operating System (OS) and OS version is being used?
    Mac Big Sur
