Stuck on 'Local Machine Stopping'

I’ve been using Local for a while, however I think I my laptop’s charging cable wasn’t in correctly and the battery died.

After trying to start up local this morning, It is stuck on ‘Local Machine Stopping’.

I’m running OSX Sierra: 10.12.6

I managed to fix this.

I opened up VirtualBox and realized the local machine was still on. I quit local, and then turned off the local machine in VirtualBox. From, there, when I reopened local, it restarted the local machine and that fixed it.
