We host with Flywheel and were notified to use Local to test our sites for compatibility ahead of the upcoming upgrade to MySQL 8. I was able to successfully connect with Flywheel and pull in my sites.
My question is - what now? What do I need to be doing to test them with MySQL 8 (they are currently 5.7)?

Great question here! Essentially, you just want to make sure that on MySQL 8, the site is still displaying and acting as it has been. Make sure all plugins and themes are up to date and compatible, that you’re on the latest versions of WP and PHP (or at least whatever the site will be using on Flywheel), and that you’re not seeing any broken formatting, critical errors, or anything else in the logs to cause concern.
