I updated to 2.0.6 and it solved the plugin update problem. Twice since, I’ve updated Divi theme and it fails. I have to manually delete and re download the theme.

Is this macOS or Windows? Also, can you try restarting the site and then try the update?

MacOS. I think I did restart the site after updating to 2.0.6. I’ll try again with the next Divi update and let you know.
Today when I updated plugins, all 6 failed with 2.0.6. I had to delete the folders and re-download and install them.
I stopped and started the site and tried a couple of more which worked normally. Tried a Twenty Fifteen theme update that also worked. Haven’t had a Divi update to try.
