There is a diference between the site I'm working on and the site I'm sending via LiveLinks, the images are not the same size for exemple

Issue Summary

One or two sentence summary of the issue.

Troubleshooting Questions

  • Does this happen for all sites in Local, or just one in particular? I’m working on one site

  • Are you able to create a new, plain WordPress site in Local and access it in a Browser? yes

Replication

Describe the steps that others can take to replicate this issue. If you have screenshots that can help clarify what is happening, please include them!

System Details

  • Which version of Local is being used?

  • What Operating System (OS) and OS version is being used?

    • For example: macOS Catalina or Windows 10 Professional
  • Attach the Local Log. See this Help Doc for instructions on how to do so:

Security Reminder

Local does a pretty good job of scrubbing private info from the logs and the errors it produces, however there’s always the possibility that something private can come through. Because these are public forums, always review the screenshots you are sharing to make sure there isn’t private info like passwords being displayed.

Hello there @alodyscommunication -

Sometimes there are issues with images and the way things display generally over Live Links with Elementor and other similar builders.

There are some suggestions in this thread I would recommend trying:

Let me know if anything in there helps, we’ll get this figured out!

Hello @sambrockway , thanks a lot for helping me ! I’ve already tried this solution, and it’s not working…
I don’t know if I need to change my url in “https” even if I’m on local, because when I use the Live Links it changes the url in “https”, and my url is in “http”. Do you think it’s something I need to do ?
Thanks again for helping me

Hi @alodyscommunication -

Aha, yes mixed content (when some things are loaded over http:// and others over https://) can cause issues with media files not appearing.

I would suggest making sure all of your media has https:// in the address.

You can use Better Search and Replace as described in this article to do this (I would recommend making a backup of your site before you do anything like that, though):

Let me know if this helps,

Sam

Hey @sambrockway :),

So I made a backup as you suggest and I used Better Search and Replace, it did some changes apparently because there were some files that needed to be changed in https, but nothing changed for the site that I’m sending via LiveLinks, it’s exactly the same… :frowning:
I really don’t understand why, I’ve tried everything…

Thanks a lot for your help :slightly_smiling_face:

Hi @alodyscommunication -

This still appears to be a caching issue from what I can tell. A lot of plugins & page builders also have caching built in - is this built with Divi by chance?

Sam

Hi @sambrockway
Yes, I know and I’ve tried everything but still doesn’t work…
No it’s built with Elementor and I already checked the CSS print method.
My theme is Astra but the free version and I’ve tried to check if there is something wrong but nothing… :frowning:
I am disappointed because I liked the idea of sending the link while working on it before a meeting.
Thanks again for helping me
