Trouble creating site on PixelBook Go

Issue Summary

I have installed local on my Pixelbook go and cannot create a site. I enter the name, wp name, pw and when it gets to “installing wordpress” it says trouble installing wordpress for local and I get a long error code (that i cannot copy for some reason)

• Local version 6.1.8+5621

• What Operating System (OS) and OS version is being used?

  • Running ChromeOs Version 97.0.4692.77 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Security Reminder

Local does a pretty good job of scrubbing private info from the logs and the errors it produces, however there’s always the possibility that something private can come through. Because these are public forums, always review the screenshots you are sharing to make sure there isn’t private info like passwords being displayed.

Local currently doesn’t support ChromeOS, so I’m not quite sure where to go to keep troubleshooting.

From the error message, it looks like there’s a missing PHP dependency of libexslt.so. I’m not 100% sure how to go about getting that built for ChromeOS, but if you figure it out, I’d love to know more!
